beingNet Alliance Signs MOUs with Industry Partners to Develop Medical and Agricultural Solutions

beingNet Alliance, which is established by Stan Shih—Acer's founder and former chairman—with goals to develop an IoB (Internet of Beings) ecosystem, has signed several MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) with a group of industry partners, including Hiwin Technologies, China-based IRH (Intelligent and Resourceful Healthcare Technology), Acer, Advantech, IBM Cloud Computing, III (Institute for Information Industry), O-Bank, and 5W Computing and Communication, to jointly develop smart end-to-end solutions for the medical and agricultural sectors, reported Commercial Times on December 2. Currently, beingNet Alliance has launched smart caregiver solutions, which extend IoT and cloud services to hospitals and patients' homes. As for agricultural applications, the alliance strives to facilitate the cross-regional integration and application of technologies in traditional agriculture, aiming to create new business models and attract younger generation to participate in agriculture.
